forgotten toys is a modern/contemporary rock band that is
currently working on completing their third CD. The members of the
band are seriously involved in their musical projects, and all have
several years of valuable stage and studio experience.
The last forgotten toys CD was a full-length/12-track record
entitled 'through the window'. That record is a driving rock record,
creatively blending straightforward rock instrumentation, catchy
hooks, melodies, harmony, and at times, an edgy modern 'techno'
sound. With a focus on 'quality', their last CD was mixed and mastered
by two of Chicago's finest: Chris Shepard of Chicago Recording Company
(Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Dave Matthews, etc.), and Dan Stout of
forgotten toys have enjoyed a small share of airtime on a
few major Chicagoland radio stations and about a dozen college stations
(check the radio page on the website
for audio links). Their recorded original music has received a decent
amount of airplay, and they have also done a few interviews and
live performances on-the-air.

forgotten toys has been the focus of articles and reviews
in several newspapers and publications. Some attention has been
given to the new CD, as well as their shows @ the House of Blues,
Double Door, and other venues.
The lead vocalist of the band, Dae, has regularly done solo acoustic
performances at least twice every month for years. This consistent
exposure, as well as forgotten toys' energetic live shows,
has resulted in a solid, steady following, producing consistent
turnouts at clubs and venues.
new day productions, with the help of Dae & forgotten
toys, has worked hard at organizing and participating in several
fund-raiser/benefit shows (Midwest flood relief, Toys for Tots,
Animal Shelter Benefits, etc.), some of which have received national
attention for their successes.
